Crabfries

Crab fries gained name recognition when they became one of the best-selling concessions at Veteran’s Stadium in 1998. At the time, new Eagles coach Andy Reid was in charge. Ciarrocchi’s legal team sought to trademark the term “crab fries,” but the owners argued that the terms were too generic and that the restaurant name only vaguely related to the trademark. While Crabby Fries’ supporters argued that Ciarrocchi “invented” crab fries, they maintained that they had no rights to it.

The Sports bar at Chickies & Pete’s is one of the best places to watch games in the Northeast Philadelphia area. The bar features two giant bars and plenty of TVs, as well as an all-season covered patio. Founded in 1977 by Peter “Pete” Ciarrocchi, the bar has grown into a Philadelphia institution.
The restaurant is located in several locations across Philadelphia. It’s open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and on weekends, it is open until 11 p.m. Chickie’s & Pete’s is also located at SAHARA Las Vegas.
